SKINNER – TRANSKIN is a small enterprise, created by a husband and wife team: Breda Kump, the designer, and Severo Sanvito, who takes care of production and marketing.

For Breda, designing and making clothes and accessories has been a passion since childhood. She has been making clothes for herself and friends since the early seventies. Her extensive travels, mainly in Asia and South America, are a constant source of inspiration, reflected in the vibrant colors and innovative shapes of her designs.

Her first creations in leather date back to 1980, when she went to India with her little portable ELNA LOTUS (sic !!!) sewing machine and some pieces of colorful sheep nappa, donated by friends. It was in the holy city of Benares that her first bags saw the light of day over the Ganges.

Since then, it’s been a constant research and play with leather, sometimes combined with 3-D plastic and other unusual materials. Many of the jackets, bags and belts are one of a kind, designed and made with only the creative aspect in mind.

Even today, our productions are small, in order to maintain that “handmade” feeling. Our line of accessories expresses a playful attitude to the ever-changing kaleidoscope of life, always keeping the practical aspect in mind.

We use best quality sheep skin nappa and suede. Besides the suggested colors, we can make almost any color combo as specified by you. Consult our color charts. The sky is the limit. Enjoy !

The prices mentioned here are for small wholesale: Minimum 10 pc. of each model, with a few exceptions (Wrist wallet and Wristbox from 30 pc. onwards, Mobile pouch from 20 pc., and bedcover 1 piece) ; or for mixed orders of min. 20 pc. total (except the above mentioned).
